Bulldog Chess with Witch and Guard (PerpetuallyPinned vs Marks1420)

Way to make me paranoid. I can't see any direct threat. I can handle Qg5, and Bxj2 does nothing,
Ok you've played en passant. No problem. I mean, I'm obviously aware of that move and happy to allow it. You just made me think I blundered the game or something.

Funny note, when I was a little kid playing in a local scholastic tournament, perhaps U1000, I had an opponent actually ask me if I wanted to play certain moves, particularly blunders. I never took advantage of his offers, I didn't see any mistakes I made.

I should have played Rad1, not e1, it was close between the two, but I wanted to protect the knight. I was much better, but now I'm pretty much lost without my witch.

I mean, we can play this over and over and debate it without knowing the real answer, but I don't think you were "much better." I would say black is fighting for equality.

Those f-pawns were very weak. If I wasn't overly ambitious with checkmate plans, I could pick them off at will as the game developed. g4 was a blunder, trying to remove f5 to open up the diagonal, causing you serious problems. I didn't think you had any serious counterplay.
Honestly, I'm paying the price for mentally calculating, rather than creating a board, but I'm spending so much time on my game vs Martin, and to a lesser degree Ry, that I didn't want to commit.
I mean, you're not taking my witch. I'd rather be checkmated!
