Isn't this just duck chess?
I actually suggested this before Duck Chess was invented. Duck Chess is similar, though. Duck Chess makes a particular square impassible, this suggestion vetos a single move. Similar concepts, but Duck Chess blocks more moves than Veto Chess.

Not at all. In Duck Chess you can't do anything about a knight or an adjacent piece ( diagonal or not )
For the sample game thingy on page 1 on move 5 it says White vetos Nxc1 but Black plays Nxc1?
