I was comparing real life strategy situations with chess in my head, and I came to the conclusion that in real life it is rare for your own team to literally be in the way of your moves. So I thought it would be interesting and add some new strategy to the game if you were be able to have back pieces move through your own front row of pawns, or other pieces. I tried a few simple moves in the chess editor and it just makes the game faster? and it does seem to add some new strategy to the game too.
Anyways I was wondering what other people think, I'm far from an expert at chess though.
