How do you feel about Cricket World Cup Final result ?

It was amazing when Joel Garner,  Michael Holding, Clive Lloyd, Viv Richards, Andy Roberts all came here and played at Lancaster Park, another golden age of cricket!  Great fun playing cricket under the big stands as kids. I think NZ was one of the only teams to beat them in a series in the late 70s / early 80s xD

I remember super tall Joel Garner was fielding in front of us on the boundary, and people were being jocular, and someone threw him a tartan beret with a red pompom on top, and he threw back his white cricket hat and wore the tartan one while he fielded for a while..... people just loved them so much!

It's so awful to say, but partly we loved them for wasting England and Australia so badly xD
