Hello and Intro!

Greetings!

I just joined the site and wanted to say hello! I'm a beginner player after years of interest but not acting upon it.  I never really knew anyone that played and didnt want to start playing by myself for fear of not learning properly. Now my girlfriend's son plays and I've found a few "closet" players and of course this site! 

I've been reviewing the rules and doing some studying and will be buying a cheap little travel set to take with me where ever I go so I can practice. 

So far from what i've seen of the site I love it! especially the  Daily Puzzle part! I have to admit (and this will show you how new I am!) yesterday's (Simply Win a Pawn) had me going for a while! I so look forward to goofing off here!
