My chess rating for my age?

I am 15

Wow, I am younger than you and I'm 1800 USCF.

Cut the guy some slack. He has been playing for two months.

And there are people younger than you and have a higher rating. What is your point? 

Well i am 133 years old and my FIDE rating is 453 so you all stink

 Sorry. I do not think so. But then again you said you started 1 year ago and if that the case you are pretty good. I am an 1486 after 1 year and 3/4 so in 3/4 of a year I expect you to be a 1400.

Wow I haven't been on a lot lately,been too focused on school and sport,try to focus a bit more on chess maybe haha

my USCF number is 394 going to go up tho. I played in two other tournaments but they haven't updated it yet

Bilal, your progress is great. But, who was it who said, "Comparison is the destroyer of joy"? Try and have fun. Don't take it too seriously or it could start to seem like a chore.

I think I was around 1000 after about a year. I learned chess (as an adult) back in 2001 with the help of Chessmaster 8000 (I remember I couldn't get past the computer-created 1200 player). I loved checkmates in particular.

Speaking of checkmates, does this site have thousands of checkmate puzzles? Mate in 1, 2 and 3? I could do those until the end of my days without ever playing another another game of chess.
