New Site Design Feedback

  • #921

May I just point out that the 'Newest Groups' info is rather redundant and in any case rather useless without showing the year formed.

  • #922

I just posted something on one of my group's Notes page, but found no provision to edit it. Why is it so?

don't need it, is not that really important is it, if you made a mistake just delete it  and repost it with the correction.

  • #924

That's what I do.  It's been that way forever.

  • #925

Yes for ''notes'' was always that way.

  • #926

too lazy to navigate your way through the chess.com I suppose ?

I "suppose" that some of us would like simple answers instead of smartass replies, mate.

  • #931

    yeah, you suppose right.

  • #932

We can give you an simple answer if you had given us a better detail of the problem you had in the first place.

  • #933

oh no, not that old chestnut

  • #934

Well, sorry for my tart reply, but I was just "harping" on how the site was just fine the way it was....not looking for tech support....it just still seems unfamiliar after a month....maybe I'm just gettin' old...

  • #935

Well has been quite a lot of glitches so understandable people get exasperated. As long as problems are getting resolved things should become easier :)

why not ? what do you find it so hard about it ? I didn't like it for a few days myself and by then I am ok with it.

  • #938

I have around 10 '' issues or problems '' that are causing difficulty with the site-redesign. I only consider one of those to be urgent & plan to submit the rest for reply via help/support ticket when things are less busy.

can't point the finger at anything in particular, i've now forgotten how the old style looked, i just can't.

maybe like the istrian, maybe i'm just getting old. things just ain't the same any more

  • #940

    How old are you GM?

If you can't point your finger at something specific, then what, exactly, do you expect anyone to do??  Change is a part of life... you either adapt or you don't, but you can't expect everything to stay the same forever!
