new timer hack cheat i just encountered.
Sort:
My pre moves were taking up entire seconds to happen. I already knew my moves for a mate. So i premoves everything. I lost on time. Went back and looked. All my moves were taking seconds to happen. Theirs werent.
Well, I’ve had my timer just freeze as though I’d lost a connection multiple times lately when one or two moves from mate. [removed -- MS]

There's no hack. It's a connection issue.
There are some things you can do to minimize issues on the client side.

Look, I get it, you are a brand new account and returning "abuser". Just don't pretend you can hack "me and not the website", because you never have a connection to me when you are playing, only the chess.com servers.

If you can force a clock or disconnect issue on any opponent, then you should submit a bug bounty on it https://www.chess.com/news/view/chess-com-bug-bounty-policy
The clients never directly connect to each other so you can't get your opponent's connection details unless you have managed to hack the site servers.

If you lookinf for a bit, you could see than "hack" have many face. by exemple i can hack (not me personnaly) but with excel file. Hack doesn't mean only that you see in movie
I'm a retired software development manager. I know better then you do what is possible and what is not. You cannot see much less access anything about your opponent's client device, unless the Chess.com devs are completely incompetent, and I don't think they are.
I have been playing MMOs since '99 and FPS games since long before that. You're some script kiddie, and all talk.
