If it isn't working for you, try using Firefox/some other browser. For some reason, old bots won't work on chrome, but they work on firefox for me.

I think chess.com on Wayback just won't work on Chromium-based browsers. Almost every major web browser other than Firefox is Chromium-based, including Opera/Opera GX. You should be able to play the old bots if you install Firefox, but you should make sure you don't set it as the default browser if you want to keep using Opera.

1. Go to Internet Archive (archive.org).
2. Search for https://chess.com/play/computer in the search bar. (highlighted in red)
3. In the calendar tab select a day where you would like to time travel. If you want to play Mittens, travel to early 2023.
4. Enjoy playing against the old bots that aren't available anymore!
