It’s six am and I’ve work today, but I’ve one more topic to trawl

And maybe I’ll find something that everyone will like; that will make me a fantastic troll

Something that will be memorable, memorable …

Dear people on chess.com the search is at an end

Other names have been mentioned, but let’s not pretend

No matter who else on here that you could recommend

There is only one winner people will comprehend

In short it’s clear to see;

The best troll on this site is clearly me, and we

Know that my name will go down in history

And be immortalised for eternity

Worshiped universally

People like my threads because they feel a connection

The things I post go against the grain, there’s no room for circumspection

I easily turn a working thread to chaos with joyous insurrection

Or my mastery to spring the unexpected in classic misdirection

I don’t mean to brag, but it’s a gift I have been given

So the fact others can’t compete could be forgiven

Anyway I was just reminding all of you

So when you come to vote you know what to do

And maybe when I’m crowned I’ll help the trolling thrive

Dear people on chess.com I still see you mentioning other names

Listening to people making silly claims

But all their threads are posts about their old games

Or trying to get their five minutes of fame

Inventing an opening, well frankly that’s lame

And compared to my threads a little tame,

All starting to seem a little bit the same

Now it’s ok to humour them, but who’ll get the blame

When one of them proclaims

That they’re the best troll on chess.com

When all of us know, that’s just dumb

Because clearly I am the one,

The OP of the threads everyone says are fun

Now I deserve a lot more praise that I’ve been getting

And I’ve a few classic threads people seem to be forgetting

And while I get a few people who keep telling me amazing

My threads are worth more than the one or two who are praising

If I’m honest I created those accounts too

But only so you could follow their lead and share their view

So get voting for me now, show me you’re still alive

Instead I’ll criticise your threads and act unimpressed

A sheep who can only copy what other idiots have expressed

Dissing my threads and leaving me feeling repressed

Then having the nerve to call me obsessed

Making a mockery of this troll contest

Well you can go take a jump with the rest

You should have voted for me and we could have progressed

Dear Cream85, sorry I didn’t reply sooner but I’ve been on vacation

I noticed in the past you’re keen to get mentioned on the thread about troll domination

Personally I think you’ll get more votes if you do less self-promotion

Though no one can criticize you’re chess.com devotion

I must say I enjoyed your thread about chess in motion

And when that guy insulted you, I liked the fact you controlled your emotion

If I could offer just a little advice to help improve your posts

I’d try to cut back on your endless boasts

I realise you were trying to be funny and for a time it was bold

But by the hundredth post it was becoming a little old

Sometimes the best threads come without trying too hard

Don’t forget a great troll doesn’t need to bombard

The thread themselves, much better when others have debated

On some pointless thread that our troll has created

And creating other accounts to big yourself up just makes you sound sad

You don’t need to do that, you’re threads aren’t that bad

I was told when I got back about someone’s posting that got out of hand

He posted some messed up things on here that got him banned

You don’t need to do the same, be patient and you’ll get your praise

Although I haven’t seen you on here in days

And I can’t see your old threads, it’s like they’ve been removed

I’m hoping that you’ve not posted something people disapproved

This person who was banned was obsessed with trolling too
