why I dislike female only tournaments (no sexism)

The highest-rated women's player is 2633, according to FIDE.
There are over 100 male chess players who have a higher rating than the highest-rated women's player in the world, and it continues as you move down the rankings for women. At the very high levels, women and men being split up makes complete sense.

oh my god. don't even get me started. sometimes, as a female chess player, I feel like I will go into a rage. It is so freaking stupid that female chess/females in chess get less attention than men. their achievements are ignored, their talent overlooked, and their potential wasted. It is so incredibly selfish of people to not celebrate you when your talent "doesn't equal a man's." This makes women in society so pressured to do as best as they can, and when they lose/don't preform as best as they usually do, the hate, anger, and incredulous comments pour in. the lack of faith in female chess makes my heart break. but when a man (top-level chess) isn't in their prime, everyone jokes it off. and then they say: "women aren't as good as men in chess." Why? Because they can't play against men. how can you improve when playing the same people at the same level at the time? why are tournaments female and male and they basically never mix? why do women get less attention than men? why is the society so incredibly shallow? I don't know. but this is your sign to pay more attention to females- because they can do whatever they want to do.

why does rage have to be blind hate? i lost my glasses and i'm repeatedly annoyed at myself for that. go girls/womens

How about we use facts. Theres about 10 times as many male chess players as women, which means above the top Woman player only 9 men should be able to be, but theres 100 males over the best female player. Do with this info what you want, im not gonna express my opinion, because yall would love to call me some names, but up there is just pure facts

Finally someone who knows what theyre talking abt

That's just plain wrong.
1: Because there's vastly more men than women playing chess, it's more likely to have male statistical outliers. Range increases with sample size. Thus, it makes sense that there are far more male players at the top.
2: Women don't get the same level of support that men get. We've been through this before.
3: In a male dominated sport, women are less likely to enjoy chess, play chess, and strive to become good at chess.
4: You're not even using facts. You just made up that statistic. The correct ratio is 11 females to 100 males (at FIDE tournaments on average). When you make claims, genuinely get evidence, don't just make up numbers.
One more thing: If anyone brings up the variability hypothesis again, explain how the average female ELO in FIDE is 200 pts below the male one (~1700 to ~1500)? That's not just variability, there is a genuine disparity due to lack of coaching.

2: Women don't get the same level of support that men get. We've been through this before.// Lets see, Male players pay the same for coaches as women, not rocket science. If theres any other support you mean it doesnt influence playing style. Male dominated sports have no effect, name one proven effect it has on women. #4 and 11 females to 100 males is around 1/10 which means theres 10 times as many men, but your math isnt mathing. and #5 Maybe women just dont want coaches, Thought of that, coaches cost money, theres no discounts to men lmao, or whats your point. None of the points you made made any sense or discredited me in any way

tried to disprove my fact with #4, you actually suggest its 1/9 not 1/10, so which means there should be even more women at the top

#4 was just discrediting your attempt at pretending that you had facts or had done your research.
"Maybe women don't want coaches"
Uh

Any new arguments? Because you just attacked me and came up with nothing better than that?
