WOW! The fastest browser experience ever...

If you're like me, you're on the internet about 23 hours a day. I probably load 10,000 pages per day. I have no idea. But I'm on ALL the time. And every pageload counts - it's time out of my life - so I try to get the fastest browsing time possible. 

So, I use Google Chrome as my browser.

If I correctly understand the whole "Chuck Norris" joke genre, you have violated the principles by attributing something to him that's physically possible. 25 hours would be allowed.

I either live in a backwater or am too old. I had never heard of Chuck Norris ... until now. This is what I got when I googled Chuck:

That would only fulfill the first requirement of the most common form of the Chuck Norris joke. You must state something that is already physically impossible, and then include a condition which would make it even more impossible.

Chuck Norris is on 25 hours a day and he still gets laid.

Erik - thanks for the tip.  I just installed it and added cache for both firefox and chrome into a RAM disk, and it was like getting a new computer (kinda...)

Now, if this would help me with my chess endgame theory, I'd be in heaven...

I recommend instead installing the Steve Jobs plugin - no need to speed up from hard disk.

My browser speed is already fairly fast. I use Chrome, which is hands-down the fastest browser for most of the web. I just like this idea that Erik posted, as I'm online a lot too, and like that extra speed without losing things like graphics. But my computer has 2GB RAM, but a not-insignificant portion of that is used up by the on-board video card with only 64MB of it's own RAM, so it shares system RAM.

I'm saving for a new, better computer, and when I've done that I may use this method, but until then, I'll live with what I have...

OS X ?

That all depends on weather you can tell your browser where to store it's cache. If you CAN, this will work. 

I was going to bag on you because of your choice of mac product but i decided that i cannot bring myself to do it. I have recently decided a mac machine is a worth while investment, just not something i would throw my money at. ;)

OMG i just read that article wow. You actually did that erik? I guess being a webpreneur your web browser speed is paramount. I will not be doing this as i like my computer to be able to do other things not just browse the web. ;) Putting a windows swap file on ones ram disk just spells disaster. You know you will end up killing you ram disk right?

Yes. :) I maybe stupid but not that stupid. Ok that is debatable. ;) But as i said creating a swap partition on your ram will cause you problems in the future and will mostly kill your ram. I dont have the money to buy a new one when that happens. :)
