Thank you for the kind words guys, much appreciated!
Any critiques? :)
@ TVEDAS. Not really. Your English is amazingly good, are you really from Lithuania? I like when you have slower time control because of the way you explain what you're trying to do. And WHY, thats the really important part. Its almost impossible to do that in bullet.
I recorded this yesterday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNWbhMaEXMo
Glad to see everyone getting love; variety is the spice of life.
I haven't had time to fully go over your videos squarology, but your voice is amazing man! I am slightly jealous :)
Maybe one day we can do Squarology vs Tvedas blitz brawl with live commentary or something similar, would be pretty cool :)

Thanks again! I am, indeed, from Lithuania. I did study in the US for around 4 years though :)

You're a great speaker! I need to work on my vocabulary...
Let's do it, man! How about Wednesday? Friday is also possible. And maybe we can turn into a Death Match? Loser jumps off a cliff.
I cannot promise anything this week, but let's keep in touch about this :)
We can do it without much planning in advance - whenever we are both online we can just shoot a PM to each other and see whether it would be possible to play :) would that work for you?
That would be awesome. Both of you are great at communicating your plans and the REASONS you came up with them.
Thanks, Damon. Your kind comments and those of many others have inspired me to continue working on this play-by-play chess commentary. I have something very special and light-hearted in store coming soon.
how does one see the results of the tryouts? I'd like to watch the leading candidate's videos.. Also, it is unclear to me where I can vote. Please advise. Thanks!

There are no results yet, all the videos are simply linked in this thread. People have also been casting their vote in this thread but it's unclear how official the voting is or if it's just to give a good idea to chess.com. Please watch the videos and vote based on that, thanks :-)
hey, guys, this is my new video:

It was pretty fun to go over a totally different game in a blitz play-by-play style. It wasn't exciting but it's still good for beginners and to practice speaking.

Hello, I've been doing videos for a while, mainly of strong players doing their thing, but also a few blitz game commentaries.

I posted some of the games Caruana played here too.

Another video for you guys. I'd love to get some feedback! A great video about not making it harder on yourself than you have to and seeing the WHOLE board.

Thanks friends.
I also like TVEDAS. Those were good. The thought process was explained well, especially the targeting of weaknesses and how to go about attacking them. I'd hope chess.com would consider as many as possible, unlike FIDE picking the WC site. Haha, just had to throw that in there didn't I?
