The h-file Mate!  Thanks for the lesson!

I absolutely agree with Jam35.  I don't know why any player would play H7 over F7.

Thepkit

straightforward

Bishop on C4 would kill the king if you moved the pawn on F7

I have noticed that the puzzel was just like one I had in tacticts trainer and one of the stories on the front page from just a few months ago, so for me it was easy

Sun777

easy, but the queen sac is dumb because black can always just thwart it.

fianchetto123

obvious

swansong

Nice problem.  Always strange to sac the queen though.

Thanks.

B to F6 also works as the first move before White Q takes G6 pawn

How do you figure that?

1. Bf6      Qxg4,  now what?
2. Qxg6+  Qxg6,  and the attack is busted.

Nice

BadBishop5

easy :)

I got this one, so that is a good sign!  The queen sacrifice always intrigues me, something I would most likely miss.  Probably should open my eyes to this possibility!
