    Well, the queen is usually considered the most dangerous threat in most situations since it can attack in 8 different directions, plus it is very mobile being able to move in 8 different directions therefore being able to position itself in a threatful position with the least number of moves, with the exception of the mobility of the knight which is unmatched.
