11/16/2012 - Mate in 4

paulified22

I solved up untill last move, 1.Qe8+...Bf8, 2.Qxf8+...Kh7, 3.Nf6+...Kg6, 4.Nf4#. Is h5 mate also,It look's like it to me?Thank's Chess.Com,good day chess head's.Now to go back and look for variation's.h5 is not mate Kg5 is a move for black.have'nt figured out what white would do if Kh7 on first move!It look's like if Kh7 on first move, white mate's with g6,all other move's were forced. Not a bad puzzle,I wished I would have looked closer at last move before I pressed h5 for last move, too impulsive, there's allway's tomorrow!!!

Why does black play Bf8 after white plays Qe8+? Why not Kh7?
