There is no way to fulfil the title's requirement of finding a forced mate in 3.
White is nicely mating with queen and knight after sacrificing rook and bishop, but it will take 4 moves, e.g.:
1.Rxf7+ Kxf7 2.Bxe6+
a) 2...Kxe6 3.Qg8+ Ke7 4.Nd5# or
b) 2...Ke7 3.Nd5+ Kxe6 4.Qg8#
Iph a) 2..Kxe6 3. Qe8++ is the correct move thus mate in 3!
good one for me
Also: 1. Rf7+ Kxf7 2.Bxe6+ Ke7 3. Nd5+ Kxe6 4. Qe8#
Art I'm afraid Qe8 is not checkmate. Qe8 then Be7.
Not cool at all; Mate in 4
what about 2...Kxd6 and its not mate in 3
In answer to #58, if on whites fourth move Nd5, what is stopping black queen to E1 for #?
Yikes! Easy? Really? Ouch!
you mean First Jerk!
