move 4 why would the black king go to h7 and not g7?
Couldn't get my head round this one to start with, good problem .
Ouch forgot about the usefulness of the pawn
beautiful way to keep black in state of check to prevent black queen from forcing mate
there is another easier way (e6-g6 e4-g6 f1-f8 )
That was a tough puzzle.
A very good puzzle!
I MUST SAY IT SEEMS LIKE THEY(Chess.Com)are making puzzles a little harder the last couple of days.Fine by me,i have found they are getting us off the sac the Q move, but you still had to sac something to get on with checking sequence Went with Rf7+...RxRf7 2.Rg6+...Kf8, 3.only one move to check with 3.Rg8...KxRg8 4. Qf7+... KH7, 5.QzRf7+...Kh6, Qg6#.FIRST MOVE DICTATED JUST ABOUT ALL OTHER MOVES.Nice puzzle thanks Chess.Com,Good dats chees heads!!!!
Once I figured out that you always need to keep black in check because of blacks move Qd7# then it was a little easier to solve.
white pawn made a major piece 4 a mate...
