     a baby puzzle!

Today's puzzle makes me think of a more interesting puzzle.  Black's queen is replaced by a pawn (giving white a huge material advantage), but black's rook is in a much stronger defensive position.  White should clearly win, but what is his best approach?  Certainly no mate in 2 in this situation.

It is still an easy win for white.  My initial move from this point would be Qf3, threatening 2.Qf4+  and  2.Qxf7

Chess.com wants me to be polite, relevant and nice. Well, I don't remember seeing a puzzle which couldn't be solved in about 3 seconds. Look at chessgames for example, they have really nice puzzles. Please improve the quality and difficulty of yours, I feel like a spazz every time I bother to solve them.
