    why not 2 Nf6?

2.Nf6 blocks white's open f file and since it isn't a checkmate, it allows black to launch his attack by:

    2. ...Bf4+

    3.g3 Bxg3+

    4.Kg2 Qf2+

    5.Kh3 Qh2#

Welcome to reply for any faster mates regarding this :)

    nice

Black had  some alternatives, but no "better" moves.

  • #46

    Easy one.

  • #47

    trapped like a rat

  • #48

    Thanks for the lesson.

  • #49

    Hmmmmmm......

  • #50

    is Qd8+  Rg8, Nf6  Rxd8, Rh8# ??? Or have I missed something?

  • #51

For me, the fourth move was the most difficult to see.  Managed to solve it, but time was really bad.

  • #52

    very good

  • #53

    cool!

  • #54

Pretty straightforward but nice puzzle anyway.

  • #55

    Why not in 3 moves?

    1. Qd8+  Rg8

    2. Nf6   Rxd8

    3. Rh7#

  • #56

    easy

  • #57

    Nice!!

You have to find a way to checkmate with check every move. If not Black has either ...Qf4+ or ...Bf4+ (and maybe even mate or perpetual check)!

Your right, but I do not see any perpetual check, depend's what white move's on move 1,Qd8+ never give's black a chance to get out of mate, nice job!!!

Could not find easily the second move...
