you can mate this in 3
that was a bit silly, there is a much easier mate.
ke6x, no matter what black does it is mate in the next move.
suppose black knight takes e6, then queen to h8 mate
if pawn takes our knight, then queen takes black knight mate
if king moves to the right then queen takes knight on g7 mate
am i missing something?
can't that be a mate in 2 or 3... 4 seems arbitrary
domate in 20
white queen to b4 then black would do somthing futile then white rooke on e7 to e8. nonconventional mate! any takers??
If white plays Ne6+ wouldn't black simply play Kxe7 ?
I have solved this puzzle.
The first move is interesting!
A good Puzzle. :)
the first move was kind of hard, but the other moves are kind of easy.
>>>> Why cant u move C3 to C5 and then rook from e7 to e8? Or am i missing something?
Because the black king simply moves to g7 & then what?
True i missed that. But then, move the queen from C5 to F8. Mate. I think there is no other move. Faster than the given solution.
I had trouble with the first move.
1. Qc5 Kg8 2. Re8+ Nxe8 or 2...Rxe8.
I thought it was Ne6, but didn't see King can take rook :(
the first move was difficult
