    broke

on move 4 why did black not take the biship @ b3 then get the queen at d1 he can then proceed to get an other queen or rook and  mate White the game.

If I ever get first page, I will NOT say first!

    Lovely

    End game always surprise me

What a powerful use of the Bishop -- and the King.  I played the right moves some of the time ( I think the first 3 or 4 and then one or two others), but a couple of those Bishop moves were out of my skill range.

I must go back and review the sequence.  The ending, forcing the black King to abandon the pawn at d2 is really sharp.

    long endgame for a draw

  • #72

    too difficult  to me!

  • #73

    Easy!

  • #74

    Cool

  • #75

    hmm:)

  • #76

Er... isnt the point of these puzzles to get black into checkmate? How is this a draw?

  • #77

the black king not taking the white bishop makes no sense at all (to me)

  • #78

    oh , damn damn damn!!!

    very tough one

    got one or two wrong

More to the point, how can Black promote one of those pawns?

     9. Kc2 Kf2 ( 9... d1=Q+ 10. Kxd1 Kf2 11. Kd2 e3+ 12. Kd1 ) 10. Kxd2 e3+ 11. Kd1

There's just no way Black can get the last pawn past that bishop!
