first! not so impressive
mate in 3 1 Qxe8 any 2 Qxf7+ Kh8 3. Qxf7# if 1... Kh8 then 2 Qxf8#
This was an incredible, grueling feat by me.
I guess even the spelling gets dumbed down for Sundays.
wuz hawwrd fer meh
Ng6 should be able to prevent (delay) the mate, I think. Ng6 Qxf7+ Kh8 Kxg2 Unless you were thinking about another mate in 3 variation.
It would have been nice to see the finish after 1...Bxf1 2.Qxf7+ Kh8 3.Qxf8+ Ng8 4.Nf7 with a nice smothered mate.
black knight to g6
i do believe there is a forced mate/smothered mate with 1.Qxf7 Kh8, 2. Qxf8 Ng8 3. Nf7# and if black holds on by playing Neg6 but then white does h6 and its lights out for black
Good and plenty
Good example of a hanging piece i become a little wary of getting my queen trapped in these situations
That was a bit easy...
Just another sunday puzzle...
just one move man.......
