    I think you have the board reversed.  Queen can't get to h4.  I think you mean  Qa5.  And that, indeed, looks like a good move for white.  It prevents the immanent Qxe1#.

    Unfortunately, we can't see how the masters played it from that point, because Trarrasch resigned after 41. ...  Bg5.   I think the sequence,
    42. Rxe6  Rxe6, 43.Qc7+  Re7, 44.Qa5
    leaves white in a competitive position.  I can't find any quick win for black, even though white's rook is pretty much out of the play.
