yawn ......... does anybody read these comments?
Cool! Another queen sacrifice...
That's the best comment I've seen in a loooooong time :P :D
Nice puzzle. I haven't seen a pin like that in a while.
Tomorrow, on "As the Chessboard Turns": Will Andy ever speak to David again? (I'd rather him not actually...)
easy but.. nice.. tks..
I think in a blitz game I probably would have seen the mate in 4 rather than look for the mate in 3. Bf5+...Bd7 Bxd7+...Rxd7 Re8+...Rd8(to block) Qxd8#. One move slower, no cool Queen Sac, but still wins by force. :-)
Thanks! I really like it when someone posts something more than "nice" or "first!"
Still waiting for a tough one.
Saw it right away
lol! This is one of my favorite list of comments ever. :P I want to come back tomorrow and see what happens with Andy and David.
BishopxD7 then Rook-E8 also works.
Very simple. A little bit spoiled with the title.
wow todays sunday already...
But I think Black would escape from this
1. Bf5+ Bd7 2. Bxd7+ Kb8! Now what? - here is one line, but I don't find a better one for white.3. Re8 Qf64. Rxd8 Qxd85. g3 Nf66. Kg2 Qxd7And black is a knight up and likely to win.
okay obviously this Andy and David thing is a hoax, its the same guys having a good old laugh about it right about now. easy puzzle
