Only an amateaur would play like black here.
That was fun
I'm not sure that even qualifies as a puzzle.
Could have been mate in 3 if the attack started with the Bishop instead of the Queen.
Ha-ha! Easy to know where the Queen has got to be in order to mate Black's King!
Witth the Knight covering d7, Black is helpless against the Queen's march from a4 to checkmate. His one alternative move, 3. ... Ke7 would be met by 4. Bxg5#
I blundered, initially, wanted to move 1. Bb5+. White will win, but not in four moves.
In a way it would be fun to make your bishop a war hero, but let the war persist. You could give it a ceremony and proper burial in between moves. (Actually it could be either bishop, 1.Bb5+ Nc6, 2.Bxc6+ Ke7 (2..Qd7, 3.Bxd7+), 3.Bxg5+ Kd6, 4.Bxd8)
Good alternate line by the way.
I thought this one was going to be a lot more fun than it turned out to be.
Nice one!!! Knight and Queen combo is a force to be reconed with!
