why not move qh7
Because the black queen will slyly escape to f7
A very practical, attacking position for white. I've had similar cases. Bet white's like this: and
I wish that all the time
Thanks for the lessons.
very easy indeed
Black officer is a hero :)
what a beautiful mate!
Young boy Bobby Fischer announces "MATE IN 4!". Can you solve it?
Ng2 you certainly mean Ne2+!
Couldn't it actually be mate in one?
Rook to h8?
No! 1 Rh8+?! Kxh8! then you have another try!
2 Rh1+ but then 2...Bh6 3 Rxh6+ Qh7 4 Rxh7# is possible it's still mate but in 4 or 5 ...2...Kg8 and now only 3 Nh6+ Kh8 4 Nf7+ Kg5 5 Rh8# leads to the mate!
1. Rh8+ Kxh8 2. Rh1+ is illegal with white's king still on e1.
How could I think 0-0-0 has already been played? Of course you're right!
