4/24/2012 - Mate in 4

Really nice problem.

similar to king's gambit opening

There is a "smothered" mate as well, but it takes two moves more:

1.Qh6+ Ke8 2.Ng7+ Kf8 3.Ne6+ Kf7 4.Qg7+ Ke8 5.Qf8+ Rxf8(or Nxf8) 6.Ng7#

I like it better.

Prativa_pralh: If 3. Qf8+  Kxf8...not checkmate...

2... Rf8

What if 2... d5

Think that should stop the mate in 4...
