Why wouldn't the black king or rook take the white bishop?
If the King or the Rook took the white Bishop, then black's Queen would just go Qh7#, being backed up by the Rook on h3.
Very easy. I don´t like
it would be pointless, as the next move would be check mate anyway from your queen.
Pound me on the head and call me shorty
Very easy puzzle to checkmate.
its sunday...that's why 2day's puzzle is somewhat easy...
A good puzzle showing the advantage of playing the white pieces was pointed out here. Because the white pieces went first black pieces couldn't implement their mating sequence. This led to easy mate by white pieces.
Nice and easy... like sunday.
I can add this tactic to my Rat-Attack
An interesting "sub-puzzle" is what was Black's Last Move?
Assuming that Black does not normally miss one move mates, then there can only be one possible last move!
the queen will not take the bishop. or it black will be dumb... instead it will move one of its kingside pawns so you have only material advantage
Even beginners need puzzles too.
not their greatest puzzle...
