    why wouldn't either Rxd5 or exd5 followed by Q-c7# work? Queen sac looks prettier I guess.

    Yeah, no kidding. How hard do you expect a realistic puzzle to be if it's mate in 2 or mate in 3? It makes you look like a complete tool if you feel the need to say it's easy.

    I think they labeled this as being difficult because Nabokov considered placing this puzzle in his book. Otherwise, it wouldn't make much sense, their comment, that is...
