First move is right?
What about 5. Qa6#?
The chess problem below is one by Bruce Pandolfini:
Mate in 12:
Black's lucky white didn't see 17. Qe8# in GSHAPIROY's game
btw, loved the last puzzle.
Another mate in 5:
How about 5. Qa6#?
I suppose that's true, Bryan681972
Nice puzzles. Rook promotion also shold work...
Get this one:
It's worth noting 6...Qh4 is a horrific blunder. Simply Nxh4 wins the bishop after Bxe2, Bxe2.
Correct me if I'm wrong....and I probably am (Or someone else pointed this out in the comments and I lazily skipped it) Wouldn't this be mate in two?1.Nd6....Kc72.Qb7#Please correct me if I'm wrong. (And I probably am)
Black escapes with 2...Kxd6.
the last move could also be Qa7, or am I missing something?
Can be blocked with Qa6.
mate with pawn = swag ;)
Pawns are, like, the very least likely piece to mate with.
OrangeMouse, your first puzzle on pg. 6 is bad, instead of 30. ... Rb7, why not 30. ... Qe1#?
