this is for rokie.this is a very very easy problem and nice problem.1.qh7.kf8.2.qh8.ke7.3.nd5.chess mate.

  • #34

It took me a long time to see that after 1.Qh7+ Kf8, 2.Qh8+ Ke7 (intuitive for white, forced for black), 3.Nd5 would be checkmate.  Beautiful!

  • #35

In this position,we note the following :

    (1) the position is completely tactic

    (2) king's opponent is completely exposed

(3)white has the move and thus initiative

(4)white simply can do checkmate by force

....thus black can not do anything except watch this checkmate..and we learn many things from this puzzle but the most important thing is we do not put our king in exposed places on the board unless there's appropriate defense...SmileSmileWink
