Why not qxd4 or nxd4 for the second move of the blacks? With a queen sacrifice, the mat can't happend, right? (2.qxd4 3be3 3qxe4!)
no, it wont happen. qxd4 and then f4, its mate
so easy for a 2000 rated player
2...Qxd4 0r Nxd4 lead to mate by 3. F4-mate
cooperation of pieces!!
@evrains: d4,qxd4/nxd4,f4+ mate
because then it's mate in the next move (f4)
if qxd4 the mat in f4 fast
Why not f2 to f4 and then c3 to e4 and finish the game in two moves ! ?
Looks like a good idea, but because 1. f4 is not a check, black has time to move the c6 knight to create an escape square, so on 2. Nce4+ Kc6. Even better than that is 1...Bxc2, guarding the e4 square and saving the light squared bishop at the same time.
A classic.Please be relevant, helpful & nice!
wow very nice problem.
