    White use's the tactics of 1.Discovery, 2.The Knight Forking Blacks King and Queen.  All leading to The ole' famous checkmating pattern so named:  The Legacy of Andre Philidor: Note; The Smothered Mate is a common method of checkmating.  It comes about; when a (N) Knight Checkmates a King thats smothered(surrounded) by his friendly pieces and he has nowhere to move nor is there any way to capture the (N)!  Thanks for the lesson!  Chess.com is the Best!

    The fool's mate is nothing new.  It's odd that black goes first.  Also, on top of this, a puzzle with a blank chessboard is stupid.  Do a game diagram instead of a puzzle.  For the first move, there are 20 possible moves.  On top of this, a puzzle is supposed to assume best play, and white didn't use best play here.
