My chess teacher told me that 2 pawns is still a draw until 3 pawns
I think if the 2 pawns are disconnected it might be drawable, but if they are connected it is impossible with perfect play.

In most cases this is a win too- an exception is the f and h pawns, where Black has fair drawing chances with his king in front of the pawns.
Here, even not caring about the d4 pawn wins easily- 1.Kf6 Rxd4 2.f5 and it will result at a Lucena position, which is elementary endgame knowledge.
If your teacher said to you that R+2P vs R is a draw, just fire him- yesterday.
White's pawns are connected and his king is strongly placed ahead of his pawns. He should win easily
