Chess is Toxic

Chess is literally just a set of rules which constitute a game.

No ideology or anything.

Individual players may be toxic, but thats the problem with the player.

The community may be toxic, but then one could just disable chat and merely play the game with no further communication. Which many people already do.

Not that I personally think that the community as a whole is really toxic.

Well in a way chess can be toxic to my mentality, especially sometimes in heavy losses. Just like last few games, I got totally destroyed by two ladies (I never had 2 female opponents in a row by the way) in a row (it was a 3|2 tournament). Well they have much higher blitz elo than me so no surprise, but I got no chance in both games and just got kinda "eaten".

One of them also has an elo of 900 rapid, way out of my league.

At least I could end today with a win, but I feel kinda awful right now. the way I lost was very rough, I felt like a caveman against them. I'm done for today, will need some rest

OK I reviewed my second heavy loss from yesterday, and she had an accuracy of 86% while I had 79%, it said I played like 1000 elo, but honestly it didn't feel that way as she just crushed me but at least I feel a bit better about that game now
