And now I just promptly got my butt whooped twice by ... @Will_MAkeyoublunder. He set me up with 10-minute Rapid games. Grrrr. I was shaking playing that fast and blundered several times, hahah!

We can play a bit longer next time, but dont blame me if i take a 5minute turn, its a very strategical power nap

last time i actually analyzed a 3/0 game where i took 5s per move on avg, was never

i think Rapid is better for beginners because it helps you think and learn without too much time pressure but daily chess is very boring

I like a mix of daily/correspondence and blitz with increment (3+2 or 5+3). Daily is best but it can mess with your time management over the board. A little blitz mixed in fixes that.
