Wow! Previous year I created a forum similar to this but there were a lot of demotivating comments in it, Chess.com community has changed

I hope Russia will change in the future too. )

Good job, the best I’ve ever beaten is a 1600 rated player.

(I got a significant advantage over a 1700, but then got careless and fell into a mating net while I was greedily gorging on his pawns.)

Well done

Well done. I was once up a piece against an 1800, but got careless and didn’t do anything about a nagging mate threat. It’s ok though because I beat a 1900+ the next day.

Oh yea lol i beat the same exact person. nice game!

No, guys... don't praise me... I lost stupidly so many games after that lucky game for me. )

So one or two your good games matter nothing.

It doesn't change general situation.

I can't play Chess well ! I play like a gooffy.

I don't know how to develop my attack properly on my opponent's position.... And I don't know how to build a solid defense even if I guess out that my opponent is gonna offense on my kingside...

Before I wrote here that the main problem for beginners  is their blunders... One guy has written to me... that it is not.

And by now I see.. He was right and I was wrong.

Maybe I stop to play Chess at all. This game is too complicated for me. (

Congratulations!

I know the feeling and most recently I defeated a 1800+ opponent with me a mere 1200.

I recently learned the Najdorf and once we were out of book theory, I was able to find a couple tactical shots.

Managed to stay composed and convert the clean win. Not only was the experience exhilarating but very satisfying to have the hard work paid off and ruled out any chance of being lucky.

Reminds me of a game 3-0 blitz  during a tourney where I drew a Womans GM who was on the Austrian Olympic Team. Really fun draw for me.

Of course, you will do it.

If you don't stop playing Chess.
