All Chess Moves Are Quite Senseless !

Sort:

So we have threads on the go now stating that this move or that move is the most senseless move ever and therefore we could conclude that ALL Chessmoves are very much quite senseless. Or to put it another way just go ahead and set up the board and the pieces but don't make any moves at all ( remember they are all senseless ) and sooner or later you or your opponent will pass away from old-age, the survivor wins   rofl.

Next we could start a reality TV show called " Survivor Chess " based on the ideas in the above post, huge ratings I'm sure   lol.

On the other hand we could play a new type of Chess called Polish Chess based on Polish Poker where we just make up the rules as we go along.

960 is a great version that exposes senseless moves, baddy.

I see that one thread at this site now asks the important question if Checkmates are needed in Chess. As I said in the first two posts here we should change over to " Survivor Chess ", anyone can play   lol.

Now I see that someone is complaining about the 50 move rule, no problem just throw that rule out too   lol.

AlCzervik

i couldn't imagine a game where 50 moves are made with no captures. so, claiming a draw after that would be fine.

i played a game years ago where my opponent and i had no captures for what seemed like forever (in a 1 day/move game). i had to look, and we were at about move 23.

uplaner

I think the sicilian is still a viable option if you want to improve in table tennis.

The contestant really old, feeble, over 103. They could be found in nursing homes.

Like it was suggest round robin matches, no moves to be made. Eight would be needed he who survives wins. We could show some history of the players so ratings would go up. . . . What do you think?

So now I see that someone here says studying opening theory is pointless. Well of course the answer is to go with " Survivor Chess "  lol.
