I play e4.
chessblood (white) vs. ChristianSoldier007 (black) WITH KIBITZERS!
Sort:
6. ... Nd5?! is bad. Forcing 7. Qe2 with 6. ... Qe7 before moving the knight is beneficial for black, because the white bishop would like to develop to d3, while black's bishop will be perfectly fine on g7.
Also 7. Bc4 doesn't chase the knight, black can just keep it there and develop. Even though winning a tempo with 7. ... Nb6 is good too.
The right move after 6. ... Nd5?! is 7. c4! Nb6 (another disadvantage of not playing 6. ... Qe7: black doesn't have the option to play Ba6 here, which would pin the c4-pawn to an eventual queen on e2) 8. Bd3 and white's position is pretty good.
The time limit is 3 days, but I imagine we will move faster than that. Please put all move selections in red.
