What is a 'rap battle'?

I would pay to see the ERB guys do this.

So would I, believe me! In fact, you probably say that I wrote so myself in the first note after the rap-off lyrics! If they ever wanted to take my battle and make it official, then I say: come at it, ERBros, I'd be truly and utterly delighted!!!

I've even got some exact ideas about how the battle could be directed (though the arena bit was intended just for the blockbuster spoof, mind you), and how the changes in the beat should go (like, for example, Garry's portions could be filled with a C-H-E-S-S or S-C-H-A-C-H motive in the music of the beat - if you don't get that, google Shostakovich's musical signature)! And I've already got the whole flow worked out, it's only natch by now. I tell you, even if I only got to be a ghostwriter/director, it'd still be a blast!

Update: it's at version 2.0.2 right now. There are some suspiciously similar substitutes of earlier words here and there, but nothing spectacular aside from that. Any comments will be appreciated, especially if you leave them on the ERB forum.
