Amazing rook sac brilliancy.

I think i would have declined the Pawn and pushed it forward instead to enable my rook to enter the vicinity of the king.

Great checkmate. I think I would probably have fallen for that same trap.

I love this trap and cornering the king with your bishop is one of my favorite attacking strategies. I think it's clear that black had an idea in mind, and white simply ignored this attack, simply because they were greedy and wanted to snatch up the pawn on e5. I think black's moves, while somewhat questionable in the earlier game, really shined with such dynamic moves as 25... Bd4+ and 26... e5. They both open up attacks on white's kingside and are very aggressive, which is great in queen-rook-minor attacks.

what about you it seems that you played 50 games  in Blitz did you have such rook sac like that.

Amazing! Truly incredible...

Nice, though it was unnecessary to add two diagrams when there was already a button for switching the sides.

I'd say that was more king hang than rook sac. wink.png

I made a rook sac today which won me a blitz game. It went like this:

Knight against rook with equal pawns? Black is totally wining and you just won becouse of time trouble.

Bud, take a look at the diagram. After exd4, Ne6+ wins back the piece. Finally, white ends up a knight.
