Analysis on my game

LegitPower
So I'm just an average player and make a lot of mistakes. This is one of my better games that I've played so far. I'd appreciate some feedback to see what I can improve on to minimize all the mistakes that I make

Thank you for that, sorry I couldnt figure out how to do that

5. bd3 -- a bit awkward to block the dpawn - ba4 is the main move, and nxn, bc4, 0-0 and even nxe5 are played.

6. 0-0 - not a huge thing, but the bg4 is going to be awkward so nxn, pxn, ne2 is a bit better

12. qe4 - makes no sense, if you want to trade queens, play qxe5 and win the pawn.  Qg5 is even better, but is a hard move to see.

13.  bxe4 - an outright blunder since rxe4 still wins a pawn by attacking both the bishop and the pawn

15. d3 - may as well win the bpawn with bxp

16.  be3 - win "the exchange" - take the rook with the bishop.

Ok, going to stop here, I think I have a sense of your level now.  You are missing some simple tactical things.  Go through the game with the computer and work through the tactics you missed.  Also would be helpful to specifically practice tactics problems here or at chesstempo.com

I didn't see that my bishop could take the rook until after I moved and realised my mistake, that shows I need to pay more attention to the board, I see where you are coming from with all the other mistakes I made, I appreciate your feedback
