Another of my club games.

Lately i have been improving my game. Just wanted to share one of my best wins since i started playing at a club. The game lasted 4 hours. Time control was one hour and 30 minutes with 30 seconds increment. And i wanna know if 16.Qxc7 is a questionable move. Now im 1 1/2 for 2 in this tournament.

Nice! Well done! Qxc7 seems to be a mistake from your opponent. The ending would've been way easier if you instead of Nf4 made luft for your king with mayby h3 or something. Then your rook would tie down his pieces and be super powerful on the 7th rank.

συμφωνω αν και ομολογω οτι παιζω πολυ συχνα bullet
εχει την πλακα του 

και εγώ παίζω παραπάνω από ότι πρέπει.. θα το σταματήσω και αυτό και το Blitz γιατί με αποσυντονίζει και δυσκολεύομαι να σκέφτομαι σωστά στα κλασικά παιχνίδια 

καλη επιτυχια οτι πρεπει να το σταματησουμε ναι πρεπει αλλα... παιρναμε την ωρα μς καπως και γενικα εχει πλακα

I would prefer taking the d5 pawn instead of the g6 pawn.

Yes it open up the position but 3 things:

1: A centre pawn should be taking if it is possible without getting in trouble (Nimzowitch formulated it a little bit better)

2: It creates 2 connected passed pawns on d4 and e3! And in endgames, these are usually quite dangerous.

3: Be6 obviously doesn't work because of Nxf6+ followed by a3
