can't see suggestion arrows since update

i've been waiting for them to fix this bug or whatever since the update but it's obviously not happening. if there's some hidden switch somewhere that turns the arrows back on i'd like to know where to find it. if the switch that's meant to do it is the one in the settings page that looks like it should be it and that one does nothing then i'm just here to draw attention to this bug
