This is a draw theoretically, engine analysis after move 35
A lot of the moves are simple theory. I have played the first 15 moves in many games.
@Holyking 33. Rc2 was the computers move.
@HueyWilliams. I am asking if you think a player in my rating could win this. Just because the computer see a win does not mean a human could win. Could you win this? Also I am asking how to play a QGD endgame.

@Steikt, it justbtakes a bit more exp and study to find moves like that. For instance I found 33...Rc2 bcos I saw this idea in Nimzowitch's My System. He calls it " The Absolute 7th rank" or something.
What a dull game. Well played and all that, but I just couldn't be bothered. I'd have offered a draw as soon as the queens were off. Just me I suppose, but I prefer a few fireworks.
35. Rd6 is that working?
The biggest edge you had was less than a pawn i suppose you could try to win but you would have had to grind your way to victory
Rd6 looked good. Computer gave it -1.0, but on the 20 last moves it was -0,4 and it looks like black can't make any progress.

You could have tried to use the pawns as pressure instead of just exchanging them, what about :
key are Rc4 to block whites options and to use the b pawn for extra pressure, White can defend better than this bu i would have given it a try

Of course you can't say if I could win this, but what do you think. Is it a difficult endgame or is it an easy win. QGD means queens gambit declined. And with a QGD endgame I mean the pawn strucures that you get when you play Queens Gambit Declined.
I think I played a good game and I had one more pawn in the endgame, but it was not so easy... I tried to put my rook behind my passed pawn, and have it where it can block checks from my opponents rook. I did a computer analysis and I was better and a computer would have won, but it was a very difficult line. Maybe too difficult for a player like me? On move 41 I offered a draw because all lines that I calculated ended in a draw. My opponent declined it so we played it till the end.
One last question: How should I play a QGD endgame? Did I have the right ideas?
