I was not satisfied with the way I played this game. I felt planless for the first part of the game and I would like some insight from the stronger players as to how I could have done better. Also, I think my opponent played a much stronger game than what his rating indicates.
I found myself lacking a proper plan in this position. In hindsight Black's Knight looks a bit misplaced and his Bishop has little future on the Queenside. Perhaps I should have shifted my Queen over to h5 right away, with my Bishop, Knight & Queen all pointing towards Black's King-side.
Instead, I continued to attack on the Queen-side, starting with a potential discovered attack on Black's Knight.
At this point I decided that I need to shift my focus to Black's King-side and try to fire up a mating attack of some sort.
