Videos of member's best games.

Many of you are familiar with my videos. They have great instructional value as I hone in on what players are doing right, and wrong, and those that are following my work are improving their game play. If you haven't seen them, a few follow below.

I have a great group here for my video lessons, over 1,000 members since it formed in April, and it's steadily growing. Although I do hire out as a coach, and do quite well (Number 4 among titled players in services sold in just 9 months: http://www.chess.com/coaches?sortby=sold ), I do a lot of free things for my group. My website has most my videos, and my YouTube channel for the rest of them: http://aww-rats.webs.com//

Anyway, my group is great, I have everything structured on my site and in our group forums to find everything you need to help improve your game. I currently am offering the members a chance to submit their best game, and then I make a video of it. If you are in my group, be sure and post your game. If you're not, hop right in! So, here are the first 8 videos I have posted. The rest will follow in the thread in my group forums, it's easy to find.

I start with one of my better efforts against a NM from 1991. It's a nice Queen sac and subsequent minor piece attack.

My game is MemberBestGames008. I thought because I won the game I would not need to look it over. The saying I have always heard is ‘You always learn more from games you have lost’. That maybe so but going over your won games helps just as much if not more.  Although I was victorious in this game there were many inaccuracies. Bill Richards a National Master was instrumental in helping with the analysis in developing more accurate move orders. Tearing my games apart will be a crucial part in my goal of mastery of the game. The best way to do this going over your own games in detail just as Bill has done. This video is one of the first steps to my mastery of the game. When I analyze my own games I see MY mistakes and can make appropriate improvements. Thank you Bill!!
