Yes, e6-e7-Rb8 is reason enough.

Hmmm. Looks like he's actually alright after playing Rd8 at some point...it gives back the exchange, but it looks drawish after that. I may be missing something though.

If Rd7, White need not take the rook, for instance, 35. e6 Rd7  36. d7+ and if 36. ... Rxd7  37. Rc8+ leads to mate.

I think you meant Rd8, but good catch there with the mating line...that was what I missed. I guess Rd8 rather than Rh7 on his last move would have worked though...but for that matter, if we're taking back the last move, I think 34. ...g5 is also viable.

No offense intended but this was a terrible game by both players

I know that 8. Bf4 by me was a complete blunder. Can you tell me what things I did wrong in the game?
