What can we learn in this game?

What is the opening mistake of Black? Can I learn something to avoid this?

There is a very important lesson there:

Don't play b6 when your opponent has a bishop on g2 and can take your rook on a8.

Fianchettos are very tricky. When you see your opponent goes for a fast fianchetto:

     - Don't attempt to fianchetto yourself, as he was the faster one and will capitalize on it.

     - Try to block off the diagonal with either a pawn defended by a pawn, or a knight defended by something that isn't a pawn

     - Take the center, as he used up two tempos and he attacked the center, but didn't occupy it.

    Good luck!

Wow! It's an awesome tutorial about openings in chess. And I will never play ... b6 in a game like this
